Working principle of dry roller press:

The binder-less dry roller granulation technology is a very competitive technology. In general, the particles are not formed by the solid bridge between the particles, but by the strength of the particles formed by the force between the molecules.

The powder is continuously fed into the roller press from the hopper, and the hydraulic roller gives pressure to the moving roller. The powder starts to contact the roller and then is driven by the friction of the roller surface. The powder is added between the two rollers rotating in the opposite direction. Press and squeeze. Under the squeezing force of the roller, the material is plastically deformed and compressed into sheets or strips. The flakes or strips are then crushed, sieved, re-sifted, packaged, and dedusted to obtain clean granular products.

The pressing force of the roller can be adjusted by the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder according to the requirements of the granulation operation. Different pressure settings can get finished particles with different strength.
